Forum Aveiro

Forum Aveiro was established on September 29th 1998, and it was the first open air shopping center in Portugal. It represented a new shopping center concept in the country, where gardens, green areas and public spaces are predominant, and presented itself as an innovation mall.

Forum Aveiro is located in Aveiro’s city center, and received the Mipim Award in 1999 for best shopping center in Europe, and in 2018 received the “Portugal Cinco Estrelas” award, under the category “Shopping Centers in Portugal”. Its colors and the textures of the used materials in the construction allow Forum Aveiro to have a contemporary architecture style, in perfect harmony with Aveiro’s architecture, for which it got the commendation of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).

Recently, Forum Aveiro renewed its food court. It now has 11 restaurants and differentiated areas, focused on the comfort and modernity that characterize the modern consumer.
