Opened in 1998, Forum Aveiro was the first open-air shopping center in Portugal and remains a national benchmark in architecture and urban integration.
Located in the heart of the city of Aveiro, it received the prestigious MIPIM Award 1999 for Best Shopping Center in Europe and, in 2018, was distinguished with the Portugal Cinco Estrelas award in the Shopping Centers category.
The colors and textures of the materials used in its construction give Forum Aveiro a contemporary architectural style, in perfect harmony with the city’s urban landscape. This integration earned recognition from the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
In 2026, Forum Aveiro refurbished its food court, now featuring 11 restaurants and distinct areas designed with the comfort and modernity expected by today’s consumers.
